Rules For Posting Comments On My Blog

What you are reading is an Author’s blog. It is not a public chalkboard where anyone can scribble whatever they wish for others to read.

My comment policy is reprinted below and can be found at the bottom of my home page.

During the past twenty-four hours, several comments appeared on recent blogs that violate my policy. They are being removed and I apologize to readers who were offended by their language or their content.

I encourage differences of opinion, but this is my website and I reserve the right to remove posts for any reason. If you are unable to abide by my policy, you are welcome to launch your own blog or post your comments elsewhere.

Thanks to those who follow the rules and add your thoughts to our discussions.

Pete Earley

COMMENT POLICY

Comments are welcomed and encouraged on this site, but there are some instances where comments will be edited or deleted as follows:

  1. Comments deemed to be spam or questionable spam will be deleted. Including a link to relevant content is permitted, but comments should be relevant to the post topic.
  2. Comments including profanity will be deleted.
  3. Comments containing language or concepts that could be deemed offensive will be deleted.
  4. Comments that attack a person individually will be deleted.
  5. Typing in all capital letters is discouraged as it is considered rude.

The owner of this site and moderators reserve the right to remove, edit, or change any comments as well as ban any commenters without notice.

By participating in commenting on PeteEarley.com — whether by liking a comment, replying to a comment, or posting your own comment — you agree to be held to this comment policy. If you do not agree to any of the policy terms stated, do not leave a comment.
